MetroGist

MetroGist lets you create, share and edit your code snippets across all of your Windows 8 devices. It syncs all your Gists with your GitHub account.

Gists are mini-repositories for your code hosted by GitHub. They let you store public or private code snippets. All Gists are full Git repositories that are automatically versioned. You can also clone the Gist repository locally if you have Git installed.

MetroGist also allows you to share text from an application into a new gist using the Share charm. You can also share your code to another application when a file is opened in MetroGist. You can send an email or create a note with your code from within MetroGist!

You must have a GitHub account to use MetroGist. You can sign up for free at http://github.com/signup.

Note: This is an unofficial Gist app. This app was not developed by GitHub. It uses the GitHub API to access the Gist data.
