This app displays cell towers from FCC databases for both public and private cell towers. There are approximately 76,000 public and 608,000 private. For the choice or either public towers or private towers, there are two methods of displaying the towers: By State and County or by within a given radius (from 1 to 30) in kilometers of where you double-tap the map.
A few counties have an extremely large number of towers (usually private), one even in excess of 10,000. Thus, there is a need to limit how many towers may be displayed in those cases since unless you have a lot of computing resources, the App might freeze. In such possible cases, you will be warned and instructed how to proceed.
When the pushpins are displayed, a tap on a pin will provide information about the tower
As with any large database, there will be towers for which the information is not correct, most noticeably when a tower is located in an obviously incorrect county or state -- or occasionally out in the ocean

In this second update, we replace a trial bing map key with a permanent one along with a few very minor tweaks to the code.
In this update, we removed duplicate entries from the Private Cell tower database, reducing its size from 608,000 entries to around 591,000 entries. Also some improvement in how the results’ text is displayed was made, along with adding the latitude and longitude to the info displayed about a tower.
