While using full screen apps there is no indication of the current time on your device’s screen. If you are busy with activities like browsing the Internet, reading or working on your device, time really fly without you noticing it. We all know the side effects of losing track of time as this can cause you a lot of inconvenience, for example getting too little sleep, run late for an appointment, etc.
Time Display solves this by displaying the time when and where you need it. Instead of going to the Desktop or activating the Charms bar to view the current time, you can configure Time Display to display the current time in a toast notification at pre-configured intervals. This toast notifications function with Modern UI full screen apps as well as when working with a Desktop app.
Time Display shows the time to the user with 3 different presentation styles. The time get displayed in the app’s tile on the start screen, through scheduled toast notifications or as a wall clock in snapped view. When setting up the toast notification time display interval, there is options for 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 60 minute intervals or the interval can be set to zero to disable toast notifications.
Using this app, you can as frequently as you require, be informed of what the current time is and never be caught off guard when it comes to time.
Note that for tile time and toast notification time to work the app must be on the lock screen. The snapped view wall clock mode does not require the app to be on the list of lock screen apps.
Note that Time Display have a 7 day trial period and the app will stop functioning at the end of this period.
