NFlate is a better folder explorer for computer professionals.
NFlate is for anyone that manages content for multiple projects, clients or jobs. This is a great tool for:
• Programmers & IT Professionals
• Graphics Artists, Photographers & Videographers
• Project Managers & Executives
• Students & Researchers
NFlate has multiple advantages over the standard File Explorer included with Windows 10:
• Customizable font and font size
• Create favorite folders and files
• Advanced Search
How much time do you spend browsing for files or folders on an average day? Multiply that by the number of days you work on a computer each year.
If the answer is none then NFlate may not be for you.
However, for those that are like me I am constantly switching between projects, issues and clients. Drilling down to the folder I need can require navigating multiple levels and this takes time.
NFlate enables you to easily drag and drop files and folders to create ‘Favorites’, which are shortcuts to frequently used items on your hard drive(s), network or auxiliary devices.
NFlate comes with an advanced search mechanism that allows you to search for files and folders. Here are a few of the advantages of the search capabilities of NFlate:
• Search by File Name or File Text (certain file types)
• Limit a search by file extension(s).
• Search Within Results to further narrow down results
• Filter a search by newer than or older than a date or within a date range
The help documentation describes the search features of NFlate in more detail.
Partial Visual Accessibility Tool (a brief history of NFlate)
NFlate was created because Windows Explorer / File Explorer included with Microsoft Windows does not come with a font selector or a zoom setting.
I cannot declare NFlate to be an Accessibility tool because this requires additional features that are not included with NFlate. However, NFlate was created because I cannot read the standard font size of Windows Explorer / File Explorer.
For anyone with poor vision like myself, NFlate will enable you to more effectively browse and navigate your file system.
If you are not the purchaser:
Ask Your Boss
If you tell your boss you will be more productive at work for less than five dollars, your boss will say ‘Yes’, or you are working at the wrong place.
Students - Ask Your Parents
When you tell your parents, ‘this will help you do better in school’, your parents will say ‘Yes’ or you have an excuse for your poor grades 😊
