Do you operate one or more computers without a monitor connected?
Wondering if you missed important notifications from these computers?
Do you always check it yourself with remote control software?
Do you want to keep the entire message history?
Did you miss messages because only a limited amount of messages appear in the Windows Message Center?
Have you ever accidentally clicked away a notification without reading the entire message?
Would you like to save all notifications so you can analyze them later?
Then install the EZ Notification Forwarder and stop waisting time on proactively checking for the notifications on your Windows computers. For example, you could get yourself notified by e.g. notifymydevice.com in case …
... a restart is necessary
... user logs on to the computer
… important updates need to be installed
... the UPS reports a power failure
... new emails have arrived
… user programs require your attention
... your telephone system software signals incoming calls
... the backup software reports a problem
... and much more
The EZ Notification Forwarder simply forwards all messages from the Windows Message Center ("toasts") to freely configurable http servers or can call any RESTful APIs.
Be creative and program your own receiver programs that then carry out useful actions according to your needs. Use "glitch.com" on the Internet or your own http server on your local network to receive notification...
... to log in a database
... to send as an email
... using a messenger (WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, ...).
… to send directly to your mobile phone via a RESTful API such as “notifymydevice.com”.
Optionally you can turn on the dump notification feature and save notifications as json files. With this feature enabled, you can keep the entire message history and process the notifications individually with your own programs or scripts.
Use the configuration elements 'JsonSerializationConfig', 'Indent' and 'PropertiesToExclude' to customize the data contained in the json according to your needs.
Do you run a lot of Windows servers?
Then an upgrade to the PRO version is a recommended investment.
Once activated, you can configure almost all of EZ Notification Forwarder's settings remotely via a REST API.
Query the status of EZ Notification Forwarder, pause forwarding, add new destinations or remove destinations that are no longer needed, activate or deactivate individual destinations.
