The application for listening to live radio using the inbuilt FM receiver
Does not require a connection to the network
Does not contain advertising.
The phone must have a built-in FM receiver.
Requires headphones which are used as an antenna.
The application is aimed at users of Windows 10 that still want to listen to the radio.
Why the name contains a minus?
At the time of publication was available only one API (from WP7), which can control the built-in FM receiver with very little capability.
So this app will never be able to:
- search quickly and silently radio stations;
- switch the sound to the speaker;
- recording the radio;
- show the RDS data.
What are the pros?
Many people do not like to manually configure the FM receiver. Why waste time on search of radio stations, though you can find Internet a list of FM stations in for your residence. The application focuses on load list of radio stations in XML format. You can edit list of radio stations in Microsoft Excel.
Storage OneDrive has shared folder FM Radio(-), where you can download or upload the list of radio stations. The link is available on the app settings page. If you added this folder to your shared OneDrive folder, you can load and save list of radio stations directly from the app. If you plan to keep your lists, you first need to make sure that the folder for your country exist. If your country’s folder is missing, create it with the English name. It is desirable to save a list with the name “RadioFM(the name of your location in the language used for names of radio stations).xml”. Working example "FM Radio(-)\Russia\RadioFM(Moscow).xml".
You may keep a list of the radio stations for a new location to help others.

- loading and saving of list of radio stations in XML format;
- measurement of the level of the signal strength;
- pin additional live tiles of the station on the start screen;
