Keyboard and mouse are required for this game. This game is designed to help people with amblyopia (lazy eye.) The common treatment for this condition is patching of the stronger eye - this helps strengthen the weaker eye and the areas of the brain that process the vision for that eye but patching does not specifically strengthen the areas of the brain that coordinate the functioning of both eyes together. Strong eye coordination is important for 3d vision and makes the brain more likely to use both eyes routinely for vision, preventing the 'lazy' eye slipping back into a weaker state. Studies have indicated that vision therapy games similar to this one can help build coordination between the eyes - they seem to suggest that 10 minutes playing per day will have a beneficial effect. You will need some red/blue 3d glasses to use this game for vision therapy. If you are already using patching on medical advice then this can continue in parallel with vision therapy although the patch will of course need to be removed while playing this game.
