Miss Milligan solitaire is very popular game in England. The game allows for a special move which can help the player recover from seemingly hopeless positions. The game is played using two decks of 52-cards.
The game starts by dealing one card to each tableau pile. Remaining cards are set aside forming the stock pile. Tableau piles can be built down by color. Top card or, a set of in-sequence cards can be moved between the tableau piles. When no moves are available, one card from the stock can be dealt to each tableau pile.
One stock runs out, there is a special move called either "waiving" or "weaving". It allows the player to temporarily move any top card or, a set of in-sequence cards from the tableau to a reserve which can be moved back to the tableau any time later on if it is a legal move for the tableau.
Foundation piles are built up by suit and game is won once all cards are moved to the foundation.
