Cruel Solitaire is a classic game of solitaire originally published by Microsoft as part of the Microsoft Entertainment Pack for Windows 3.0. This classic is no more included in their latest solitaire collection so here we have this classic game remade for Windows 10.
Cruel Solitaire is played using one standard 52-cards deck and aim of the game is to build all cards into the foundation using unlimited number of moves.
4 Aces are dealt to 4 foundation piles at the start and remaining cards are dealt to 12 tableau piles face-up with each pile getting 4 cards. Cards in a tableau pile are build-down by suit. Only the top card of each tableau pile is available for play. Empty tableau pile can not be filled with any card. Foundations are build-up by suit. At any time after making desired moves, cards in the tableau can be collected in same sequence without shuffling and re-arranged to tableau piles in a set of 4. This can be done as many times as you want.
The game is won when all the cards are on the foundation piles. The game is lost if no more moves are possible even after re-arranging the cards.
