Details and menu functionalities:
COMIC BOOK:
Captivating illustrations that narrate the ongoing opera's story through comics, a language that makes melodrama more understandable to young readers. Dialogues and images will help students become familiar with musical themes and the atmosphere of the opera. A valuable resource for teachers, parents, and music professionals that offers a new, engaging, and inclusive method to introduce children to opera and stimulate their interest in music and culture through creativity!
CHARACTERS:
Knowing the characters of an opera is essential to fully appreciate the plot, music, and stage interpretation. Characters are the protagonists of the action within an opera. Knowing their personal stories, goals, and relationships helps follow and understand the overall plot of the opera. Knowing who they are and how they develop throughout the opera allows viewers to connect emotionally to the story.
WHO IS ...? (author of the ongoing opera in study)
The life and era in which an author lived deeply influence their work. Knowing the author provides a historical and cultural context that helps better understand the influences and motivations that guided the creation of the opera in question. This is particularly important because often the plot and themes reflect the period in which they were written.
SING THE OPERA:
Through well-defined steps, the student will be guided to learn the musical pieces, simplifying complex concepts, making the approach easier for those unfamiliar with the musical genre:
STEP 1 - RHYTHMIC READING: performing the piece by dividing the text into syllables, separating words to highlight sounds and cadences;
STEP 2 - PIANO WITH GUIDED VOICE: a simple musical base to learn the intonation of the piece;
STEP 3 - ORCHESTRA WITH GUIDED VOICE: singing each piece with orchestral accompaniment, with a guided voice on top helping correct intonation and rhythm;
STEP 4 - ORCHESTRA AND MELODIC LINE: it's time to try singing, simulating what will happen on stage! Each piece will be accompanied by a video where students will see the conductor's hands. They will learn the association between gesture and music, preparing them even more for the live performance.
CREATIVE RECYCLING:
Section dedicated to the magical world of Creative Recycling! A way to discover how ingenuity and sustainability merge through the recovery of materials to transform them into extraordinary tools for our show. With a touch of imagination and a hint of creativity, one can become a true artist, contributing to making every element that brings magic to the stage unique and special.
All students will learn to sing a song with Sign Language - LIS.
