This application allows the user to transfer table columns from a PDF file to a spreadsheet on a column by column basis. A preview of the data being transferred is displayed to ensure the list of items is correct. Any anomalies can be corrected in the preview pane before the data is transferred to the spreadsheet.
The steps required to complete a transfer are:
1 - Open the PDF in the application. (Acrobat is not required.)
2 - Highlight the column to be transferred.
3 - Review the information in the preview pane. Make any adjustments if required. An example of a possible adjustment would be to add blank lines contained in the PDF table to the column created in the preview window.
4 - Press the paste button. The application will then display the spreadsheet tab with the transferred data. (Excel is not required.)
5 - The spreadsheet can be saved to an Excel format, text or comma delimited format.
6 - Data formatting is retained when the data is imported into the spreadsheet.
7 - The data can be manipulated in the spreadsheet as required. Sum and Filter columns, create Pivot Tables and more.
8 - Full printing capabilities are available for the PDF and spreadsheet.
