The Simple Gopher Client lets you visit Gopher sites and blogs. Gopher was a popular network protocol right before the World Wide Web was developed; today there are hundreds of Gopher servers and a small but vibrant population of people still writing for Gopher, connecting popular services to the Gopher network, and publishing gopher blogs (called "phlogs"). There are even community-supported Unix servers that will host your gopher site!
