3D Suomi – learn about the surveying field
Did you know that a surveyor can spend some days walking about in nature and other days at the office? Or that scientific researchers in the field are developing, for example, the navigation systems required by driverless vehicles?
You can explore Finland and learn about jobs in the surveying and spatial data fields using the presentation materials in the National Land Survey's 3D Finland app. In addition, you are invited to solve a map task and to guess in which city you are.
This gamelike app is intended especially for secondary school students who are considering their options of further education.
The app is available in Finnish and Swedish.
