eBECS has created several ‘Apps’ for Microsoft Dynamics AX that enables Windows 8 and Windows 8 RT users to access and update Microsoft Dynamics AX2012. The Apps are simple to download, easy and convenient to use, and are already delivering real business benefits to other Dynamics AX users.
The eBECS Apps allow Microsoft Dynamics AX users to perform their day-to-day business activities in an off-line or on-line mode, while still fully utilising the business processes within Microsoft Dynamics AX. The Apps make Microsoft Dynamics AX much more user-friendly in that users are interacting seamlessly with Dynamics AX without necessarily being aware of it.
Although it is possible to create almost any App using the eBECS framework, eBECS has created several pre-made Apps that can be used out of the box, including:
• Time Entry. This App enables users to create online and offline time-sheets that can then be posted to Dynamics AX
• Expense Reporting. This App enables users to create online and offline expense claims, such as receipt images that can then be posted to Dynamics AX
• Approvals. This App enables users to view and approve any Dynamics AX workflow approval request, including purchase requisitions, expenses ad time-sheets.
eBECS Apps are free to download. However, please note that users must purchase the eBECS App Connector in order to connect the Apps to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. This is an essential requirement and it also allows eBECS to fully explain the benefits and potential of the Apps.
