Set in Miami, VANDAL follows the story of a Cuban-American graffiti artist, Nick Cruz, also known as “Damage,” the leader of the infamous MGK graffiti crew. Nick, also known as "Damage" is an extremely talented graffiti artist who roams Miami with his friends, with one thing always on his mind: Vandalism. On a balmy Miami night, his mentor "Pharo," the founding member of MGK, takes his own life, sending shock waves through the graffiti community. This event pushes Nick to the edge emotionally. Along the way, Nick sparks a romance with "Silk" who is a member of Nick’s longtime rival crew, re-igniting tension between both sides. "Sizmik," the leader of the rival crew, desecrates the Pharo memorial mural, forcing Nick into a dangerous street-war aimed at retaliation. With Metro Police’s Gang-Unit on their tail, the MGKs continue their nightly graffiti slaughter on the streets of Miami, while one fateful night, Sizmik spots the MGKs painting a roof-top. Defeated and downtrodden, he does the unthinkable: calls 911 and reports the vandalism. The events that follow will send the entire crew into a spiral of chaotic events that will forever change them, and make Nick question the vandal life he has embraced for so long.
