This DVD was recorded and filmed at Dingwalls, London. In terms of Jamaican music, Desmond Dekker truly deserves the title "superstar". Not only has he been recording music for nearly forty years, but he was the first Jamaican artist to gain a major hit in the UK and other major world wide territories. This in itself was an amazing achievement, coming at a time when the music establishment in the UK was resistant to non-mainstream forms of music. The effect was to pave the way for other Reggae artists.
