World War II is a 20 part series that covers every aspect of the world's most deadly war. The series' first episode is entitled Hitler the Wolf and details the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party into power in Germany. Continuing with the initial conquests of Poland, France, and Africa, all the way to Pearl Harbor, Stalingrad, D-Day, and V-E Day. Not only focusing on the European front, World War II covers the Pacific Theater as well including the battles of Midway, Iwo Jima, and many more. The series also takes a look at the atrocities of the Holocaust and the judgment that came later with the trials at Nuremberg. For any history buff, World War II is a wonderful collection of images and accounts, and another must-see in the long list of World War II documentaries.
