Monkeyshine follows Jake Truman, an everyday regular guy, in search of a legacy left by his Grandfather for generations. At his Grandfathers funeral, Jake is handed an envelope which contains a map of an island apparently called Monkeyshine. Jake must look into his soul and follow his heart to find out who he really is, and what he really wants, before he can set out on a journey that could change his life forever...
