It has been written that music owes as much to Bach as religion to its founder. His works are the musical bible for all those composers who followed him although none have ever equaled his mastery of composition. We feature selections from these famous Concertos, highlighting the composer's technical genius. We also describe how the works of this great master were almost tragically forgotten after his death and explain their subsequent resurrection eighty years later by Felix Mendlessohn.
