Joon Yoon (South Korea, 1993) performs Isang Yun’s Fünf Stücke für Klavier, J.S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in C minor, BWV 847, François Couperin’s Les ombres errantes (25th Ordre, Book 4), Earl Wild’s ‘Embraceable You’ from Seven Virtuoso Etudes after Gershwin, Couperin’s Les Tricoteuses (23rd Ordre, Book 4), and Maurice Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin, M. 68, during the semi-finals of the 2021 Piano Edition of the Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM). This performance was recorded at Konzertsaal Joachim of the Universität der Künste Berlin, Germany.
