December 2010, just before Christmas in countryside France. Twenty-something Mathilde meets up with her older sister, Delphine, and her little girl, at the station and drive to their parents' house. Mathilde isn't staying for Christmas as she's about to head off to South America to start a training session. As familiar homely hysteria sets in, Mathilde is a rather ghostly presence in the house.
