Jim and Danielle are staying in Provence at Chateau Leufroid, watching preparations for the grape harvest. But back in Jersey, the Bureau des Etrangers have discovered a consignment of grenades in a cargo of Scotch whisky. Somewhere there's a french connection to the arms shipments, and it's only a matter of time before Jim stumbles across it. To further complicate matters, two of the young grape pickers have embarked on an ingenious electronic fraud - and Charlie Hungerford becomes one of their targets. Caught between the computer whizz-kids and the dynamite-toting arms dealers, it is soon clear that Bergerac won't be seeing much of the vendange.
