Drift is a 2011 multi award winning short film by writer/director Ben Caird (HALFWAY). In an attempt to find a reattachment to the memory of his childhood, John (Russell Barnet) returns to the London neighbourhood he grew up in. When he meets Aya (Lis Long), a single mother struggling to keep her life moving in the direction she wants with her young child, James, he sees in them kindred spirits.
