A sitcom about Isabel, a promising screenwriter whose main goal in life is to become the writer of a hit telenovela. When she finally gets her chance, she is betrayed by her mentor Lauro Valente, a famous screenwriter with writer's block. He seizes the opportunity to get back on prime time. At the series' premiere, Isabel decides to confront him and magically ends up in his telenovela as the main character. Seeing from the inside how the cast and crew work, she gets the chance to prove her creativity and to turn the plot in her favor. Destiny's Rebound, a drama filled with conflicts, vengeance, and unrequited love, will force Isabel to face her problematic romantic life and skepticism of love.
