Dr. Riki Ott is a toxicologist, author and citizen activist who predicted the Exxon Valdez oil spill and aided her Alaskan community in their battle for compensation. She also helped to organize in Gulf Coast communities struggling to recover from the Deepwater Horizon spill. She now leads the Ultimate Civics campaign, a curriculum that empowers students to participate in the democratic process.
