SMEARS is the look into the lives of four modern-day black women who fight to overcome physical and mental disheartening experiences caused by 'protectors'. SMEARS speaks on trauma that women endure that is not often times exploited, such as sex trafficking, the contemplation of suicide and the constant action of being overlooked by everyone around.
