Medieval catapults and their modern variants are the center piece in a new variety of brain and brawn-sport; a contest to catapult an eight to ten pound pumpkin as far as possible. Each year competitors trailer their gigantic, homebuilt catapults and head to Milton, Delaware for the annual Punkin Chunkin World Championships.
