In "SOLD", a street peddler explains his plan to make a million bucks selling pleather handbags."What Are You Having?" won the Grand Prix du Court-Metrage at the Deauville Festival of American Film (jury president: Roman Polanski). It won a CINE Golden Eagle; and "Best Short Film" at the Abuja International Film Festival, in Nigeria. It screened at top festivals on five continents. "Georgie Porgie" won "Best Short Film" at the Chicago Underground Film Festival, the Boston Underground Film Festival, and the Seattle Underground Film Festival. It won "Best Drama" at the IFP/Chicago Short Film Festival; "Best Director" at the Georgetown Independent Film Festival; and a Bronze Plaque at the Columbus International Film Festival.It was selected to screen at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, the Corto Sentiero in Milan, and at festivals around the United States and Canada. "SOLD" won "Best Student Film" at the Humboldt International Film Festival (Alexander Payne, head of jury); "Best of Show" Flicker Intercollegiate Film Festival; and a "Certificate of Merit" at Worldfest/Houston. It also showed at festivals around North America.
