The Dissonances, an homage to the famous quartet of Mozart, is a collective of artists created by violinist David Grimal. Together, they play Symphony No. 3 by Johannes Brahms. Composed in 1883 in Wiesbaden, Symphony No. 3 aroused a great deal of enthusiasm, especially from Hans Richter, who nicknamed it the 'Eroica'. Scored for strings, woodwind, brass, and percussion, the symphony consists of four movements, was inspired by Schumann, and angered Wagner fans when it was played for the first time.
