Kalamity is a film that explores the dichotomous nature of processing a breakup metaphorically, but presented in story form. Kalamity's two main characters are near mirror images of each other, from different perspectives. One clings lovingly while the other is trying to let go at all costs. Told against the backdrop of Northern Virginia, Kalamity is a dark tale, not to be taken too literally.
