The past 300 years have brought many changes to the Navajo's daily existence and their modern leaders are greatly concerned that ancient philosophies may not survive much longer. With the youth of the nation enchanted by American culture and the Navajo language itself becoming eroded, the Navajo people ask themselves what the future holds.
