A Romantic movie that centers on Clay Walsh, former frat boy who gives up his reckless carousing and runs an antique shop in a small Midwestern town. He has become notorious for his lofty and outdated theories on love and romance as well as his devout beliefs. When he meets Amber, a free spirited, woman with a restless soul, who drifts into the area and rents the apartment above his shop, finds herself surprisingly drawn to his strong faith and noble ideas. As the both overcome relationship theories together they attempt an old fashioned courtship.
