About Kanta Barrios: Kanta had her first experience of yoga at the age of six in her hometown of Mexico City. She spent 12 years as a student of yoga, meditation, and philosophy in Siddha Yoga Meditation Ashrams in India, the United States and around the world, traveling with her teacher, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. Trained in Anusara, Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga, Kanta's classes are creative, challenging and dynamic and strongly emphasize breathing and alignment, though always with an invigorating flow and pace.
