(1944, Republic) Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Lloyd Corrigan, Mary Lee, Thurston Hall. UNCUT! Roy befriends a thought-to-be-dead millionaire. When the millionaire's daughter comes west to take over his ranch, he instructs Roy to "tame" her while he remains in hiding. Things get sticky when she plans to marry a man her father loathes. Roy and Dale weren't married when they made this film, but the chemistry is obvious. This is a superb Rogers film, the uncut version of which hasn't been around much. As far as we can tell this is its first time on DVD. From a top 16mm print.
