The hometown experience of Jesus in Nazareth is explored with a unique archaeological look at the remains of Nazareth from 2000 years ago. The problems of growing up in this small village had an impact on what Jesus said and did both in and out of Nazareth, but especially framed how Jesus dealt with pressure from His family. These pressure points are mentioned by the Gospel writer, but seldom explored by modern believers. This presentation will look carefully at Jesus' early relationships as the Gospel writer mentions them.Archaeology and Bible Professor, Dr Randall Smith has a M.A. in Near East Archaeology and a Ph.D. in Comparative Religion with specialization in Judaism.
