On 11.11.11 the North Mississippi Allstars delivered an amazing performance at the historic Bluebird Theater in Denver. “It’s very unusual for the best show of a tour to be captured and documented without distraction” said drummer Cody Dickinson, “this is a raw and real representation of our band hitting a stride and breaking the mold”. 11.11.11 highlights NMA's Americana roots while showcasing virtuoso performances on traditional and improvised instruments. “We anticipated 11.11.11 being a great night of music, we wanted to make it special” adds guitarist Luther Dickinson. The band delivers on its promise with eye popping guitar work from Luther (including a heavy dose of the fan favorite coffee-can guitar) and Cody going primal on the drums with wiffle ball bats. Bass player Chris Chew shows off his vocal talents on “I’d Love To Be A Hippy” and Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready". Interlaced between many songs are interview clips revealing an honest window into the band’s perspective on their music, their history, and where they are today.
