Passing Through is a documentary following the crew of 'Behind Us', a film about two siblings' paths as they cross the American Southwest spreading their late father's ashes. One week before production on Behind Us, the film lost funding and the two lead actors dropped out. Determined to push forward, the crew piled into a minivan, drove 6,000 miles, and shot a series of test scenes themselves.
