Especially for having a wife who he loves for forty-four years, having raised two successful children and being a proud grandfather of seven beautiful grandchildren. Despite all that, he feels something is missing. He had been so concerned with the day to day world that now he feels the need of something to nurture his spiritual side. He chooses to walk the 800 kilometers pilgrimage to the burial remains of the Apostle St. James, who was buried in Santiago de Compostela, Spain and goes beyond to Cape Finisterre. This is the story of his journey and the pilgrims he meets along the path.The journey was a test of his endurance and will power. But the journey changed his life, he found his faith, he developed a personal relationship with God and just as important opened his eyes to the goodness in humanity.
