The Tanto is a deadly Japanese knife or dagger carried by the Samurai as an auxiliary weapon. This short blade was often used as a utility blade but its effectiveness in close-quarter combat is truly awesome. It was constantly carried by the Samurai and not left at the door when paying a visit. The Tanto is used to slash, thrust or chop an opponent into submission.
