King Henry VIII is having wife trouble again. He's just so disposed of yet another queen so that he could wed Marie of Normandy and finally be blessed with an heir - only to find that he cannot get within cuddling distance of her because of her passion for garlic. Finally Marie forces Henry to go to bed with her, but Henry has a scheme that will fool Marie into thinking that he's been kidnapped. When the king and queen are in bed, they plotters arrive to kidnap the king. But King Henry doesn't know that the old plan has changed and that they are really trying to kidnap him. Marie saves the king by beating up the intruders and forcing them out of their room! Complications arise when Henry marries another girl, just as Marie's cousin from France comes to visit Queen Marie and is not too happy to find out what is going on. News of this comes back to France and the King fears a war on his hands because of his bad loyalty to the Queen! The cost is considerable - Queen Marie's child looks exactly like Cardinal Wolsey - who was just executed by the King of France!
