The film is set in December 2012 in the backdrop of the ghastly "Nirbhaya" incident in Delhi, when the entire country rose up in protest against the atrocities perpetuated against women and pronounced the verdict of hanging the miscreants in unison. The film opens with Rudranath Chaterjee returning home, to his wife and their two children, after serving a jail term for alleged rape and murder. The film explores the journey of the protagonist who needs to set the records straight and discover for himself the Truth perennial. This film belongs to the thriller genre questioning and verifying the versions of truth per se vis- a vis the effects of trial by 24X7 media and various social networking platforms.
