Triple tribute to Igor Stravinsky in the shape of a pirouette by choreographer Jean-Claude Gallotta. He has chosen to work on the first version of the work, which he considers to be one of the best: rough, without affectations, without decorative brilliance, directed and recorded by Igor Stravinsky himself. The Rite of the Spring preceded by two short pieces: ‘Tumult’, where the choreographer invites dancers and audience to hear the raw silence of the dance that precedes the unleashing of music and ‘For Igor’, a solo that gives a tribute to the composer. Recorded at the Théâtre National de Chaillot in 2012.
