Darrick Rizzo was an 18 year old college student, when he was faced with his girlfriend's unplanned pregnancy. While he wanted to be a father, he listened to those around him and hesitantly chose adoption. Given false promises, Rizzo went a majority of his son's life thinking he would be able to have an open adoption, while those expectations were never really met.
