2005, William, a young provincial cop who recently transferred to the Paris region, dreams of playing in the big league. Just as he is discovering the microcosm of life in the suburbs, a major drug bust brings down Moussa Jebli, a respected figure in the community. William's determination enables him to rise through the ranks, but also brings him face-to-face with the brutal reality of the underworld, where the line between crime and legality becomes increasingly blurred. Opposite him, Moussa's brother Driss, a brilliant student with a promising future, finds himself forced to take over the family business. Unwillingly caught up in a downward spiral, he soon reveals himself to be a true trafficking genius. This odyssey will turn them into enemy brothers, in a struggle marked by mutual admiration that will take them from the suburbs to the far reaches of the Ourika valley.
