Valentino, a former theater costume designer, hates the theater after separating from his actress wife. Leonardo, his son, loves him like his mother but this passion of his is not welcomed by his father. After yet another argument, father and son separate. Leonardo will live a dream night in a cinema with Lucia, a girl he has just met; Valentino will relive the memory of his wife.
