Robert, an undercover cop, leaves the force after getting shot in the line of duty. He retreats to the Lake District with his wife to build a new life running a Bed and Breakfast. But Robert is drawn back into a dangerous world when an old colleague persuades him to turn the Bed and Breakfast into a police safe house, sheltering vulnerable witnesses and supergrasses.
