Laurel and Hardy wreak havoc on a small town when they perform their patriotic duty in this classic comedy as Air Raid Wardens.The comic duo tries to enlist but is rejected by the military. Only Civil Defense will accept them--a foolhardy act of kindness with near disastrous repercussions. In spite of their ineptitude, the two misfits save the town by thwarting an enemy spy ring and become the most unlikely of heroes.
