A LITTLE WILD is the musical comedy prequel to the hit movie franchise, "Madagascar." The 22-minute CG series finds the endearingly hilarious (and slightly mischievous) characters of ALEX the lion, MARTY the zebra, GLORIA the Hippo, and MELMAN the Giraffe living at a rescue habitat in the Central Park Zoo (headed by habitat director KATE, a self-described "wildcat" lady). Using a system of secret travel tunnels run by a pair of cheeky chimps (PICKLES and ASL-speaking DAVE)-- and with a little help from ANT'NEY, a foodie pigeon who commutes from Long Island-- the adventurous foursome sneaks out into the wilds of New York City to pursue their dreams (and stop for take-out along the way). With their stealth costumes and can-do attitudes, the gang manages to blend right into the city. After all, New York is a place where anything is possible.
