"Going Up" has a common theme that I feel will reach many people. Everyone has trouble with communicating at some point in a relationship. It could be talking to your wife, your father, your daughter, your best friend, or a student. We all have a hard time communicating how we feel sometimes. I had this idea for this film about seven years ago. I developed the story in bits and pieces over time. Finally, ten months ago is when I was able to put those pieces together to tell this tale of (mis)communication. How far to the brink of devastation would you take your relationship to avoid actually discussing your problems? We will answer that very question with a few laughs along the way.
