The SAKA (demonstration) constitutes the core of the Gurudwara reform movement started by the Sikhs in early twentieth century. This film highlights the unprecedented discipline, self-control and exemplary patience displayed by the Sikh protesters. The national leaders too acknowledged the glory and the prestige which the peaceful resistance of the Sikhs brought to India's struggle for freedom.
